Purple hydrangeas flowers - fresh, stylish and yet classically romantic. Each tall, sturdy stem holds just one purple bloom framed with dark green leaves. Use alone for a striking monochromatic bridal bouquet, or in place of greenery mixed among other wedding flowers. A few sprigs of purple hydrangea plucked from one bloom gives a delicate accent to boutonnieres while several stems fill out vases nicely for large and stately centerpieces. Each purple hydrangea bloom is 4-6 inches in diameter. Color Range: The color of purple hydrangeas varies from light to dark purple. Purple hydrangeas often have shades of lavender or pink tones. Flower centers can sometimes be blue. Please note that the specific shade of purple hydrangeas varies according to weather and growing conditions and and each bloom is unique. Hydrangea Care: Upon receiving your hydrangeas, take them out of the box and remove all packaging. Cut the end of each stem with shears or a large knife and dip immediately in warm water. Keep stems in the warm water for 5 seconds then transfer to a clean vase with lots of fresh, cool water. Keep in a cool room, away from direct sunlight and refresh the water every 24 hrs. Remember that hydrangeas are very thirsty. They love to drink, so keep those vases filled up! |
