I ordered 200 Black/Dark Purple Mini Calla Lillies and 30 Ivory Mini Calla Lillies. I found that Pacific Callas had the best selection and the best prices on the internet and also with local competition.

The customer service was excellent. I was emailed immediately when they had the fedex tracking number and answered all my questions and concerns about flower handling and preparation.

When the flowers arrived, the preparation was easy! The person I talked to gave me great advice as far as prepping the calla lillies, he told me to only put them in 1-2 inches of water and change the water out and cut the stems every 24 hours, that way the bottom stems don't become mushy if they sit in deep water. This was great help! I did exactly what they told me and on my wedding day every single calla lilly looked beautiful! There wasn't one calla lilly that was damaged or wilted.

The Black/Dark Purple Calla Lillies are beautiful in color. I love the range that I got, which worked out perfect for me, as my colors were eggplant, raspberry purple, passion purple and black. I used the ivory calla lillies for my bridal bouquet and one single boutonniere for my husband.

The calla lillies alone made for very elegant bouquets! The arrangement was simple, it was inexpensive and looked gorgeous. I found that smaller bouquets for the bridesmaids looked better. I used 15 black/dark purple mini calla lillies in each bridesmaids' bouquet. I used 25 ivory mini calla lillies in my bridal bouquet, which was also perfect for me, the bottom part was a little bulky and I probably would have opted for less after seeing how elegant the bridesmaids' bouquets were.

We wrapped the stems from the very bottom to almost the very top with thick satin ribbon and then put pearl pins all the way. For my something old, I wrapped my two great grandmother's lockets around my bouquet and for my bridesmaids gifts, I bought them all lockets and had their initials engraved on them, then had each bridesmaid wrap their locket around the handle of their bouquet. It was very elegant and gave it a nice antique vintage feel, which was a theme throughout my wedding.

The boutonnieres for the men were one single calla lillie with the bottom stem, about one inch wrapped with a smaller ribbon. The mothers all got fancier boutonnieres, they each got 2 of the black dark purple calla lillies and then one ivory calla lilly. All three wrapped together the same way we did with the men's boutonnieres.

I had left over black, dark purple calla lillies so I place 3 in each centerpiece flower arrangement. Which were manzanita branches, painted silver, with a silver antique vase keep them in place. At the top of the vase, bottom of the branch we used dark purple and black carnations to fill the bottom and then inserted the 3 calla lillies. It was nice to do this because it broke up the carnations and added that touch that carried a theme throughout the wedding decor.

I was very very pleased with Pacific Callas and I would recommend their flowers to anyone! Especially "Do It Yourself" Brides or brides on a budget.

The wedding was on Friday. The flowers came on Tuesday. I treated them just the way you said to, and they were perfect. We ordered 220 of the mini callas in 3 colors. It was nice that we had many different sizes, as we used them where they fit. We had 1 bride, 7 bridesmaids, and at least 40 bouteniers and corsages. We put flowers on 30 tables at the reception, also. Many hands made light work. We did not use callas for the front of the church, as we wanted something tall and inexpensive.

I have to say that we had no one experienced in arranging flowers. It can be done by anyone with a bit of creativity, and a willingness to study books and practice a bit beforehand. I had a friend that studied it out for me. She also found your site and got us going on the Calla Lilly idea.

On Thursday morning, we made bouteniers and corsages. We also did the table decorations for the reception. On Friday morning, we made the bride's and bridesmaid's bouquets and the arrangement for the table outside the sanctuary.

My daughter wanted a simple look, so all we added to the bout. was 2 strands of bear grass. We did put wire up the stems. On the corsages we added bear grass and a little baby's breathe and a bow. We used 3 flowers for the mothers and the grandmothers.

At the reception, we had the lillies under water. We put wire in the stems, but it was not stiff enough to get it to the top of the flower. Next time I would use thicker wire. Use containers that are small enough to keep the flowers in place, with help from the torque of the wire.

In the vases, we just added bear grass to the flowers and some greens from Siberian Iris, from our yard.. Very easy.

In the brides bouquet we just added loops of bear grass.

Our favorite piece was the sculpture. We used 1 pound of unleaded solder to make the loops that we put the flowers in. We made it Friday morning, and it was just fine until midnight. Leaded solder does not hold up. It is too flexible. We used the largest flowers in the bunch, and it filled out nicely. I believe we used 14 callas in it. The hardest part of planning it was finding the right bowl.

It was on Nov 24th 2008. I LOVED the flowers, they were so fresh and vibrant and it really gave life to my wedding. The Callas completed the look that I wanted to acheive on our very special day. The theme of my wedding was 'the fall season' so it was mostly focused on leaves. The colors of the Callas really blended in with the fall leaves. It was beautiful!

The flowers arrived on time and the 'take care' instuctions were very easy to follow. I did not add much to the flower bouquets it self b/c i think that Callas Lilies are beautiful by themselves. Thank you for making our special day even more beautiful!!!

We want to thank you for your great service with our flowers for our wedding. Peter was extremely helpful in selecting the number of callas we would need and for answering the many questions we had. I was nervous at first about ordering online, but felt confident after looking at all the photos of previous events and with all the info Peter gave us.

We ended up ordering a box of 100 (50 red and 50 orange callas), two boxes of mixed mini callas (300 each box -- growers choice -- they were beautiful mix of dark purple, light purple, whites, pinks, oranges, and creams), and 30 classic white callas. They were beautiful and the instructions for care was spot on. Many of the people still had their centerpieces more than 3 weeks after the event!

We also ordered 11 Red Sox calla bulbs, and one set of the Giant Blaze bulbs with planter, back in March. We planted them and used them in some of our bouquets. While half of the Red Sox bulbs came out a light pink rather than red, we thought it added a very personal detail. We took care of those plants for 13 weeks and we'll have them now planted in our yard for years to come, we hope.

It is my pleasure to write a review of Pacific Callas. Thanks to you and a little elbow grease we had wedding flowers that looked like they cost us a fortune but certainly didn't come anywhere near breaking the bank. I placed my order for callas from you all and then went to a florist and ordered "filler" berries. The callas came right when you said they would and the instructions on the website made preparing them super easy: the morning of the wedding my sister wrapped the callas and the filler in ribbon that I purchased from a craft store and pinned them using floral pins. And that was it! Callas are super easy to pin into bouquets because the stems are so sturdy. Depending on the size of the bouquet you might have to clip the ends of the pins so you don't poke yourself. It was unbelievably easy, inexpensive, and beautiful.
